Exercise is something we hear we should do all the time. Yes, we know it is important to move our bodies, but don’t “they” know that as Mom’s it is very hard to find the time to exercise?? It doesn’t have to be as hard as it sounds! Whether you are a Mom with little ones, a homeschool Mom, a work from home Mom or a work out of the home Mom, I am hear to make exercise MUCH easier for you!
Work Out at Home
I have found that having the ability to exercise at home is the EASIEST way to get it in. There is no extra time driving to a gym, you don’t have to worry about whether child care is open, and you can plan it in to your schedule at a time that works for you! I also am a firm believer in an exercise plan. If you know when you are going to exercise and what you are going to do, you are a shew in for getting it done!
Exercise Resources
Here are some of my favorite resources for at home exercises:
- Beachbody on Demand-I have used this for YEARS! Basically, it’s a one time a year subscription for tons of different types of workout plans. Everything from Barre, Weights, Kickboxing, Dance Cardio and more are available with all of the details you need to complete the plan successfully!
- Fitness Blender– This is a new to me program that I have loved. I was looking for a specific plan of HIIT and Weights and was able to find that with Fitness Blender. They have free exercise videos on YouTube that you can use anytime. However, if you want a plan (which I recommend for success) you can sign up on their website. On the website you are able to filter through the plans based on what type of exercises you are looking for, how long you want to work out and more!
- Barre3-If you love Barre, Barre3 has an excellent online studio. They even offer a free online trial to see if you like it or not! I loved my time using the Barre3 workouts.
- Pelaton App-No bike or treadmill? No problem! The Pelaton App also offers bootcamp, stretching, strength, cardio and yoga classes.
- 7 Minute Workout-This is a great app to have on your phone to workout anywhere! This app leads you through 7 minutes of exercise that you can do once or repeat as many times as you want for a longer workout. It’s a great option to take to the park so you can workout while your kids play!
Pinterest Can Help
If you love running or walking, I have found some great plans on Pinterest. I have even found several plans that help me plan if I am wanting to do a couple of different types of exercise throughout the week! I am currently doing a couch to half-marathon/weight training hybrid schedule that I found on Pinterest. It keeps me on target each week and I know exactly what to do.
I hope this helps you get started with an exercise plan that works for your body and your life! If you have used other plans or fitness programs that have worked for you, tell me about them! Find me over on Instagram or comment below!
